The recent death of Lewes volunteer fireman Tim McClanahan in a training accident has focuses a lot of attention on Delaware’s volunteer fire fighters and emergency responders. This hand-colored photo from about 1930 shows the Delaware City volunteer firefighting corps with some of their equipment and firehouse.
