Delaware group promotes medical freedom, highlights vax dangers

Panel tells town hall attendees fear should not drive healthcare decisions
January 26, 2024

A Delaware group that supports medical freedom told a town hall audience that there were alternative treatments to COVID-19 vaccines that could have saved lives early in the pandemic.

“What we found was there was massive top-down pressure to create a scenario where you’re terrified you might die. Once they got everyone afraid, they were more likely to sign up for the shots,” said Abraxas Hudson, Delaware Medical Freedom Alliance president.

Hudson hosted the DEMFA event Jan. 22, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center in Rehoboth Beach. It was the group’s 12th town hall event since 2021.

According to its website, the DEMFA mission is to put healthcare back into the hands of the people.

Hudson and a panel of doctors spent much of the town hall presenting evidence on the dangers of COVID-19 vaccines. Hudson said the federal government did not follow normal protocols and rushed the vaccine onto the market.

“The government pretended there’s nothing you can do; there are no solutions. But they suppressed the brilliant doctors who were finding solutions,” he said. Hudson said doctors risked their careers if they spoke out against the shots.

“I regret getting [the COVID vaccine],” said Corrine Reilly of Lewes. “I came here because I’ve been sick for months. I’ve had every test known to man, and I have nothing.”

Reilly was one of many people in the audience who wanted to learn more about the long-term effects of the COVID vaccines.

Dr. Angelina Farella, a pediatrician from Texas, said she also has experience treating Lyme disease. She said she sees parallels between the way Lyme was treated 20 years ago and the response to COVID-19 vaccine injuries now.

“It’s the same exact thing – ‘It’s in your head.’ I can’t tell you how many times my Lyme patients told me they were referred to psychiatrists. It’s not in their head. Long COVID is not in their head,” she said.

Dr. Irene Mavrakakis, a pain medicine specialist in Dover, told event attendees that the warning signs were known before the vaccines were rolled out.

“Serious safety and adverse effects were already seen in preclinical trials – heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis were already seen,” she said.

Mavrakakis said the pandemic shows a need for separation of science and state.

“The fox is running the healthcare henhouse,” she said. ”People go from the pharmaceutical industry to high positions in public health. The CDC is partially funded by the pharmaceutical industry.”

Mavrakakis is currently working as a medical advisor to Libertarian presidential candidate Mike ter Maat.

Hudson said although the group cannot give medical advice, DEMFA used information from what doctors were learning to create a kit that helped people avoid the vaccine.

“[It had] nutraceuticals, Pepcid, Zyrtec, things you can buy at the drugstore. Treat early, take this little kit. We passed it around, not just here but across America. Probably thousands of people used it. We don’t know anyone who took our kit and ended up in the hospital,” Hudson said.
