The Delaware Psychological Association held its 22nd annual conference Nov. 7-8 in Dewey Beach, where psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, mental health counselors and graduate students attended two days of educational programming on the treatment of anxiety and OCD.
Speaker Dr. Sarah Haider said anxiety diagnoses, including social anxiety and phobia, have been more prevalent since the pandemic, while treatment has been more difficult to access.
Dewey Beach Mayor Bill Stevens welcomes attendees to the event.
