Delaware Resorts 55+ Expo announces new sponsors

The 6th Annual Delaware Resorts 55+ Expo is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes. The event is free to the public, and all ages are welcome to attend.

Lead sponsor Beebe Healthcare will be continuing the expo’s tradition of offering free health screenings and flu shots.

A full array of exhibitors includes: health and wellness firms, medical facilities and services, home healthcare agencies, physical therapy providers, physical fitness programs, 55+ residential communities, realtors, home builders and renovators, developers, bankers, insurance and financial firms, well as home product and service companies all geared toward the 55+ community. Many exhibitors will be offering expo specials, and giving away gifts and prizes.

Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth will again be the event beneficiary. Representatives will be on hand to provide information on the organization’s valuable services and how people can help.

“Our Fall Home Expo, recently held on the first weekend in October, was well attended despite the hurricane weather. We look forward to giving visitors another opportunity to see a wide range of new products and services designed for the 55+ community,” said Kathy Benson, Delaware Resorts Expo founder and organizer.

Refreshments will be available all day and the beautiful hardcover 2022 Delaware Beach Book will be given away while supplies last.
