Delaware State Police Cpl. Stephen Ballard was remembered May 1 at The Circle in Georgetown. Ballard was fatally shot April 26 at a Route 40 Wawa during a check on a suspicious vehicle. Hundreds of people attended to show their support for the Ballard family and the officers who serve in law enforcement throughout the state.
