Delmarva Christian High School holds Spiritual Emphasis Day

Delmarva Christian High School recently marked another successful Spiritual Emphasis Day, an annual event designed to foster spiritual growth and reflection among its student body.

This year’s event, themed U-Turn, brought students together for a day of worship, community and introspection.

Held March 20, Spiritual Emphasis Day saw students engaging in various activities aimed at deepening their spiritual understanding and connection.

Student Leadership Council advisor Alicia Basar expressed her gratitude for the success of Spiritual Emphasis Day. "Events like these are crucial for nurturing the spiritual growth of our students. Spiritual Emphasis Day provides a unique opportunity for our students to come together, reflect on their faith, and recommit themselves to living out their beliefs in a meaningful way,” said Basar.

In addition to multiple sessions of praise and worship, students participated in prayer sessions led by visiting pastors Jim Peper and Marc Hannah. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to engage with their peers and mentors.
