The Dewey Business Partnership held its annual Easter Egg Scoop April 19, near the Hyatt Place on Van Dyke Avenue bayside in Dewey Beach. Hundreds of folks young and old attended, and the hunt featured 7,000 eggs and treats. There were also food and drinks available, and a DJ providing tunes.
The hunt happened in waves, with kids ages 2 to 4 first, followed by those ages 5 to 8 and then 9 and up. Adults ages 21 and up went last. The adult egg hunt featured a 50/50 cash prize for the winning egg. The event ended with a dog parade, which was led by the Easter Bunny.
