The Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities gave KSI a generous donation to fund its visual arts residency program again this year.
Last year, the artist residency program provided such a unique and exciting experience that foundation decided to renew funding for 2022. Providing new experiences through the visual arts adds great value to KSI’s programming day.
“We’re trying things they haven’t tried before, and they’ve done a fabulous job. They’re gaining confidence to be creative and to try new things,” said Kizzie Cobb, last year’s Art Works for All instructor.
KSI, a nonprofit agency, provides vocational training, employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation, life enrichment and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Sussex and Kent counties.
