Dimitra Yoga beginners’ series to kick off March 5
Dimitra Yoga will start a new four-week series of beginners’ classes at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, in the Lewes studio and via Zoom for those who wish to attend remotely.
The practice of yoga includes physical exercise as well as a discipline that helps one destress and relax, and feel healthier and more energetic. Physically, yoga improves muscle tone, stamina, posture, strength, balance and flexibility.
The best way for people to know if yoga is right for them is to give it a try, and the beginners’ series is the perfect place to start.
The one-hour class will meet Tuesday evenings for four weeks. Students will learn what yoga is, how to start a practice and how it can impact their life. This series is for absolute beginners or students who are somewhat new to yoga and want a deeper introduction. Also included in the $100 fee are four weeks of unlimited yoga classes, so students can take in as many sessions as they desire while growing their practices. Classes of different types are offered every day, with options to participate in person or virtually.
