Disney cruise family fun presentations set Nov. 7, 11 in Bethany

November 5, 2015

Disney-certified Glass Slipper Concierge travel planner Duane Whitman of Millsboro will present New Fun for the Whole Family Aboard the Ships of the Disney Cruise Line from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, and Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Ellen Rice Gallery in Bethany Beach.

As time allows, he'll also pull from his 40 years of experience planning Disney vacations on land and sea to help individuals, families and multiple generations plan their trips in ways that make the best use of their time and funds "so all they have to do is have fun and make some very magical memories."

Whitman will talk about recent innovations, including a Star Wars-themed area where children can fly through the galaxies, multiple enhancements to teen areas, a new salon for children and adults, and a new water feature in the adults-only area of the top deck, things that are coming on all four ships of the Disney Cruise Line. There will also be new ports of call.

Whitman has been an avid Disney fan all his life, visited Walt Disney World more than 30 times, sailed on the Disney Cruise Line numerous times and has been planning custom itineraries for families visiting Walt Disney World since 1972.

A graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, he joined Glass Slipper Concierge, a Disney-specialized, authorized, travel concierge service that offers meticulously planned Disney vacations, in 2012. He was named one of their Top Ten Travel Planners last spring and is featured on www.glassslipperconcierge.com.

As a Glass Slipper Concierge, Whitman specializes in selecting and reserving the best cruise or resort accomodations, park tickets and dining plans to meet specific needs and desires and beyond those basics offers free, individually customized itinerary planning, complete with free one-on-one, on-call help during vacations if desired, in addition to fee-based, onsite guided tours.

The talks are informal, with open question-and-answer periods about traveling to Walt Disney World, on the Disney Cruise Line, on Adventures by Disney , at Disney's new Hawaiian resort Aulani and Disneyland.

Whitman invites people to bring their Disney travel questions to the events and enjoy light refreshments and video presentations surrounded by shore artwork by Ellen Rice and other artisans. Detailed itinerary plans are reserved for clients who book their Disney vacations through him. Free Disney literature will be available to take home.

The Ellen Rice Gallery is on the south side of the Bethany Beach grandstand area in the Blue Surf Building at 98 Garfield Parkway, Suite 109, Bethany Beach. For more information, call Whitman at 302-448-1534.
