DNREC 2023-24 Delaware Hunting and Trapping Guide available online
Delaware’s general firearm deer season, aka the shotgun season, runs from Friday, Nov. 10, through Sunday, Nov. 19. Duck and Canada goose hunting seasons will open Monday, Nov. 20.
Also opening Nov. 20 will be seasons for cottontail rabbits, ring-necked pheasants and bobwhite quail. Incorrect dates were listed in print copies of the 2023-24 Delaware Hunting and Trapping Guide; the online version of the guide has been corrected.
