Do More 24 livestream to spotlight nonprofits March 7-8
Do More 24, Delaware’s Largest Giving Day, is designed to help nonprofits increase their capacity and engage new donors. Organized jointly by United Way of Delaware and Spur Impact, a 24-hour fundraising marathon will be broadcast during this year’s giving period from 6 p.m., Thursday, March 7, to 6 p.m., Friday, March 8, at the Do More 24 Delaware 2024 pages on Facebook and YouTube.
Many of the participating nonprofits and supporters will be featured during the livestream, and content will be shared and updated throughout the day. In the past three years alone, Do More 24 has raised more than $7 million and expanded the reach of nonprofits around the state. The goal for this year’s event is more than $2 million. Supporters can also visit the Do More 24 website March 7-8 to donate and maximize the impact of their giving.
During this time, nonprofits have the opportunity to earn more than $350,000 in cash prizes and other grants donated by more than 25 sponsor organizations from across the state.
Among the Sussex County nonprofits that saw significant funds raised in 2023 are Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown, Coastal Concerts, Clear Space Theatre Company, Southern Delaware Orchestra, the Rosa Health Center and Pathways to Success.
Do More 24 Delaware operates through the Delaware Gives platform, enabling seamless donations and providing transparency on fundraising progress throughout the event.
