Dogfish Head moves Analog A-Go-Go to Wilmington

May 7, 2016

Dogfish Head is moving its celebration of beer and vinyl records to Wilmington.

The company announced that the sixth annual Analog A-Go-Go will take place at the 328-acre Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Saturday, Sept. 17. Tickets are $65 and are now on sale at analogagogo.com or by calling 800-441-7223.

The event previously had been held at Dogfish Head’s Milton brewery.

“We wanted to move it north. We're a Delaware brewery not just a Sussex

County brewery. We wanted to do something in our state's biggest county

that we could really grow,” said Dogfish founder Sam Calagione.

Vice President of Marketing Neal Stewart said, “Our Milton campus only allows for so many guests, so we sat down to reimagine it so that we could share the experience with more people. We knew we wanted to keep it in our home state, and we eventually chose Bellevue State Park for its centralized location and awesome amenities.”

A company press release said the move to Wilmington allows for more artists and vendors and makes it easier for fans from across the Mid-Atlantic to attend.

Analog A-Go-Go features live music, rare beers, craft cocktails, vinyl vendors and food trucks. Artists for this year include Built To Spill, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ra Ra Riot, Beach Slang, Fiance and Talib Kweli. The event will also feature the Best Firkin Friends Beer Festival and Distillery Garden, which will feature rare beers and scratch-made cocktails from Dogfish’s distilling line. Food trucks will include Zogg’s, Kapow and the Cow and the Curd.
