Don Sumner
Don Sumner of Shalimar, Fla., passed on Sunday, July 7, 2013, formerly from Arlington, Va., and Rehoboth Beach.
Born Dec. 24, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., he is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bonnie Kelly Sumner. Survivors also include a brother, Bruce Sumner; nephew, Tom Easterling; nieces, Karen Chaconas, Debbie Cowden, Donna Salazar, Carol Billings, Linda Billings, Judy Wright and her husband, Don's special friend, Ruel Wright.
Don was career Air Force, living in Arlington from 1960 to 1982 and retiring to Rehoboth Beach for 30 years, recently relocating to Shalimar. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19.
