Dorothy E. Burke, loved sewing, crocheting

Dorothy E. (Schwear) Burke, 88, peacefully passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, in Milford. She was born  June 21, 1936, in Wernersville, Pa., beloved daughter of the late Sallie (Schwear) Evans.

Dorothy was a woman of many talents and interests. She had a deep love for sewing and crocheting, often creating beautiful pieces with her hands. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, inlcuding playing bingo, going fishing, and camping. Her warmth and sense of adventure brought joy to those around her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Sallie; her devoted husband, Clarence Burke; and her son, Steve Burke Sr. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Agee; her cherished grandchildren, Vicki, Eric, Shane, Steve Jr. and Shaun; and her adored great-grandchildren, Desiree and Alyssa.

Services will be private. The family will honor Dorothy’s memory in their own special way. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
