Dr. John Rees to present free lectures on thyroid health March 28, April 10, 25
Dr. John Rees, DC, CFMP, will present free lectures on Understanding Your Thyroid at 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, at Milton Public Library; Tuesday, April 10, at Rehoboth Beach Public Library; and Wednesday, April 25, at The Backyard restaurant, Milton.
Over 30 million people in the U.S. have thyroid conditions, and more than half of them are undiagnosed. Women are 10 times more likely than men to have thyroid problems. Rees’s presentation will address many of the symptoms of thyroid conditions such as fatigue, dry skin and brittle hair, weight gain and loss, muscle and joint pain, brain fog and memory issues, and many others.
With over 30 years of chiropractic wellness care, as well as being a certified functional medicine practitioner, Rees has extensive hands-on experience treating patients who have had difficulty finding solutions for what may be undiagnosed thyroid dysfunction. His presentation will help attendees understand how the thyroid gland works, what to do when it doesn’t work, and what plan of action to follow to help identify and resolve current thyroid issues. After each presentation, Rees will be available to answer questions. Presentations are sponsored by Functional Chiropractic, 506 Union St., Milton.
