Egg rolls and tacos highlight the menu at Dewey Eat, a new casual beach-fare eatery that offers slow-roasted meats, infused margaritas, seafood and vegetarian options.

General Manager Jess Culotta said the Dewey Beach location is an expansion of the Baltimore Eat restaurant group. The “Eat” part of the name stands for egg rolls and tacos, the restaurant’s specialties.

“Our brisket tacos are a favorite, hands down, and our buffalo chicken egg rolls,” Culotta said.

Bacon mac and cheese and Mexican cheesesteak egg rolls round out the signature offerings, and tacos are served on corn or flour tortillas with a side of rice and beans. Choose from sautéed mushroom, ahi tuna, Tinga chicken, pork, brisket or tequila-lime shrimp.

Starters include an array of chips, dips and nachos with or without chicken, pork, brisket or shrimp. Quesadillas are stuffed with cheese, mushrooms, chicken, pork, brisket or tequila-lime shrimp.

Lighter fare includes shrimp Caesar and southwest chicken salad, and for those wanting a bit more on their plates, Thai-chili tuna and carne asada steak entrees come with several sides.

In addition to house infused strawberry, pineapple and jalapeno margaritas, beverage options include fresh watermelon margaritas, a variety of Mexican and American beers, wines, tequilas and crushes.

Just-rolled-out weekly specials are taco Tuesday, of course; wine and steak Wednesday; special margarita prices on thirsty Thursday; and happy hours Friday and Saturday.

Dewey Eat is located at 1904 Coastal Highway in the space formerly occupied by Sirvida in Surfrider Condominiums. It is currently hiring additional line and prep cooks.

Take-out food and margaritas are also available, Culotta said. Hours are 4 to 11 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and 12 to 11 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Call 302-212-2105, go to deweyeat.net and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
