Elaine Ann Alger, enjoyed many hobbies
Elaine Ann Alger, 76, of Lewes passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at her home. She was born Jan. 13, 1945, in Springfield, Vt., daughter of the late Dean and Mary Cahee.
Ms. Alger worked in food service for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry for several dedicated years. She was a member of the VFW and AMVETS. Ms. Alger had many different hobbies and interests, including trivia and crafting. Above all, she cherished time spent with those she held most dear. Ms. Alger was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Alger was preceded in death by her son, David E. Alger III. She is survived by her son, Ronald Alger (Barb); her grandchildren: David R. Alger and Cindy M. Alger; her daughter-in-law, Martha Alger; her sister, Nancy Knuth (Bob); her niece, Corina Hagen; and her great-nephew, Tyler Hagan.
Services will be private. Final care of Ms. Alger has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
