Engineering camp applications due March 16
The Delmarva Post of the Society of American Military Engineers is offering a college scholarship to high school seniors or other incoming college freshmen from Delmarva. Applicants must have been accepted into the engineering program of a four-year college accredited by the American Board for Engineering and Technology. Military affiliation is not required. Amounts and the number of awards vary. Applications are due by Tuesday, March 31.

The society also sponsors students to attend engineering and construction camps at five locations: U.S. Army Vicksburg, Miss; U.S. Navy Port Hueneme, Calif.; U.S. Marine Corps Camp Lejeune, N.C.; U.S. Air Force Scott Air Force Base. Ill.; and U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. Basic eligibility requirement is that students be U.S citizens, at least 15 years old and have completed their freshman year of high school at the time they depart for camp.
