Eric Weidinger, avid car enthusiast
Eric “Rick” Weidinger passed away Monday, July 22, 2024. He was born Oct. 6, 1958. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., a lifelong yinzer.
Rick was a 1976 graduate of North Hills High School; he went on to marry the girl next door. They would have a romance and marriage that spanned nearly 50 years.
An avid car enthusiast, he loved his ‘69 Pontiac GTO and NASCAR racing.
He would spend his summers in Rehoboth Beach, a second home to him, making many wonderful, long-lasting relationships with locals and business owners in the area. He and Diane would marry there Sept. 9, 1989.
A music lover and devoted fan of Pink Floyd, he attended many concerts over his life.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; and cousin, Kenny Mura (Sue); and many friends in Pittsburgh and Rehoboth. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Louis and Patricia Weidinger.
