Evelyn Marie O’Neal, enjoyed family time

Evelyn Marie O’Neal, 64, affectionately known as Evey, of Millsboro, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023.  

She was born May 20, 1959, to the late Ernest and Eleanor Blades Littleton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Littleton Huffman; a brother, Roger “Charlie” Littleton; and a grandson, Christopher Bacon.

Evey was a hotel manager for many years before retiring. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Donald O’Neal of Millsboro; a son, Jesse Burks Jr. of Millsboro; a daughter, Lisa Bacon, her husband Tommy, and their son Kalob Rickards of Frankford; five siblings, Ernest “Johnny” Littleton Jr. of Millsboro, Bonnie Littleton Hughes, Arthur Littleton of Laurel, Mary “Jake” Whaley of Laurel, and Arlie “Huck” Littleton of New Jersey. She was also blessed with one granddaughter, Shelby Bacon; along with one stepdaughter, Kristy Littleton of Millsboro; and stepson, Ray O’Neal of Mullens, W.Va.. Evey is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
