Experienced physical therapists join Aquacare Lewes teams

Aquacare Physical Therapy recently welcomed three new providers to its Lewes teams.

Layne Gable, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT, has four years of experience working with pelvic health and lymphedema patients. She believes in treating every patient as a whole person, based their on lifestyle, passions and goals. Gable earned her physical therapy doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and certified women’s health specialist. She grew up vacationing in Lewes and is excited to advance her career in the area.

With extensive training in working with individuals who have neurological and orthopedic conditions, Karen Gregorio, PTA, has over four years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She is also LSVT BIG certified and is looking to receive certifications to work with clients affected by multiple sclerosis. Gregario earned her associate’s degree in applied science from Union County College in Plainfield, N.J.

Melissa Martinelli, MS, OTR/L, CLT, has over 18 years of experience as an occupational therapist focusing on adult orthopedic rehabilitation. Martinelli earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. A certified lymphedema therapist, she has spent the last several years specializing in breast cancer rehabilitation, oncology and lymphedema management.
