Firefighters responded to Rehoboth Beach Plaza, also known as Baymart, for a blaze that broke out around 12:20 p.m., May 1.
The shopping center, which is home to All Saints’ Thrift Store, is mostly vacant. The fire was secluded to the corner of the building farthest from the thrift shop, which was most recently used as a postal annex. Firefighters extinguished the fire before it spread. Store officials on the scene said the thrift shop was not affected.
The cause is currently unknown. More information will be added as it is released.
