February 22, 2022

The 2022 edition of the Firefly Music Festival is set to return to The Woodlands in Dover from Thursday, Sept. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 25.

The four-day event will be headlined by Halsey, My Chemical Romance, Green Day and Dua Lipa. Other acts on the bill include Weezer, Big Sean, Zedd, Avril Lavigne, Charlie XCX, All Time Low and Bleachers, among others.

While the full schedule has not yet been released, Halsey will headline Sept. 22, My Chemical Romance will headline Sept. 23, Green Day on Sept. 24 and Dua Lipa will close out the festival Sept. 25.

A presale on passes for the entire festival is available at fireflyfestival.com, with general admission passes starting at $299, VIP for $739 and Super VIP passes starting at $2,699.

Firefly has been Delaware’s largest music festival since its beginnings in 2012 and has had headliners as diverse as Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney to Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone. The event’s first seven years were held in summer, but after the festival was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved to the fall for the 2021 edition.
