First State Manufactured Housing awards 2024 scholarships
The First State Manufactured Housing Association announced two recipients of the Manufactured Housing Scholarship Award for 2024-25. Each scholarship is in the amount of $2,500, and totals $10,000.
Congratulations go to Samantha Buckley of Millsboro, Ellis Jack of Lewes, Emma Moyer from Pot-Nets Lakeside in Long Neck and McKenna Vest from Clayton.
Buckley is a graduate of Sussex Central High School, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA all four years. With a passion for music, she plans to study music education at Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pa.
A Cape Henlopen High School 2024 graduate, Jack will be a student in the University of Delaware’s nursing program starting this fall.
A 2024 Sussex Central graduate, Moyer will be attending Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus, majoring in early childhood education, with the goal to become a para-professional in a special education classroom.
Vest is a 2024 graduate of Delaware Military Academy and class valedictorian. She will be attending Texas A&M University majoring in agricultural economics.
