First VegRehoboth Thanks-Living dinner sells out
Organizers of the first all-vegan Thanks-Living Dinner for the Rehoboth Beach area are pleased to announce it is a sold-out event. Slated for Sunday, Nov. 24 at CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, the Thanks-Living Dinner will feature a chef-created holiday meal with plant-based versions of all the traditional flavors. The event, hosted by VegRehoboth, sold out within days of being publicly announced, with all 75 tickets being sold.
"We are so grateful to the community for its enthusiastic support of this new event," says Tara Sheldon, VegRehoboth cofounder and vice president. "This shows just how much interest there is in plant-based eating. We especially thank our generous contributing chefs and sponsors: Leo Cabrera of Modern Mixture, Hari Cameron of a(MUSE.), Jay Caputo of Cabo, Gretchen Hanson of Hobos, and Alyssa Titus of Azura Clothing Company."
Other local businesses joined in and contributed as well. VegRehoboth extends special thanks to Keith Irwin of Old World Breads and Root Gourmet for generously donating their breads and to The Lilypad Children's Boutique, Dimitra Yoga, and CakeBreak for generously donating items for the gift raffle.
