Following a top-to-bottom renovation of an existing hotel, Staybridge Suites is now open on Route 1 outside Lewes.
Located behind Bob Evans, the new extended-stay hotel is where Heritage Inn & Suites used to be. Renovations began in late 2023 and continued through all of 2024.
The new hotel, which is owned by H&R Hospitality and part of the IHG Company, opened about three weeks ago, said General Manager Bryant Miller. Everything has been redone, he said.
The hotel has 94 suites, a daily breakfast buffet for guests, a pool, a workout space and a laundry area, said Miller. It’s all new, he said.
