Food Bank of Delaware reaches out before Thanksgiving
Mobile pantries help feed people in need in Sussex and statewide

Food Bank of Delaware is holding a series of statewide food distributions the week before the Thanksgiving holiday.
In Sussex County, drive-through mobile pantries took place Nov. 16 at Crossroad Community Church near Georgetown and Nov. 17 at Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown.
So far this year, the Food Bank has distributed more than 7.5 million pounds of food at 536 mobile pantries.
Food donations are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the Milford warehouse, 1040 Mattlind Way. To donate funds, go to fbd.org/get-involved/donate-money.
Food donated at Delaware Tech includes bread, pastries, milk, chicken, hamburger and other meats, as well as USDA Farm to Families food boxes of produce.
