Fort Miles hosts 1940s Sweetheart Dinner and Dance Party

Historic Fort Miles, nestled along Delaware's picturesque coastline, recently transported guests back in time to the glamorous era of the 1940s. With its rich history and unique ambiance, the fort provided the perfect backdrop for an enchanting evening of dinner and dancing.

From the moment attendees stepped foot onto the grounds, they were transported back in time to an era characterized by elegance, sophistication and camaraderie. Tickets were priced at $90 as a fundraiser for the Fort Miles Historic Area and First State Heritage Park. This was the second time holding this event, and the first for Valentine’s Day. The evening included dinner, musical entertainment by the WWIIunes, a guided tour of the facility, swing dance lessons and a ticketed cash bar served throughout the evening.
