The Fralinger Mummers String Band will return to the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, for a performance in downtown Rehoboth Beach. The free family concert will take place at 219 Rehoboth Ave. in front of the Rehoboth Beach Fire Department. The City of Rehoboth Beach has granted the jazz festival the use of Rehoboth Avenue from Second Street to the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center in support of this free family event.
The Franlinger Mummers String Band is the 2015 winners in the String Band division of the world-famous New Years' Day Philadelphia Mummers Parade. The interactive performance will feature the Mummers marching from Rehoboth Beach Convention Center to the fire hall where they will perform the free concert. Special guest David P. Stevens, a Philadelphia-based guitarist, will also perform. The event will feature balloon animals for the kids and other family fun activities. The concert ends at 1:30 p.m.
