Frances L. Witman, avid fisherman

September 27, 2020

Frances (Fran) L. Witman, 70, of Milford passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2020, at home peacefully from respiratory and kidney failure.

Fran was born in Ridley Park, Pa., the daughter of the late Russell G. Jr. and Florence (Wood) Witman.  Her lifetime career was in the banking business.

Fran was a faithful member of the Metropolitan Community Church of Rehoboth and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous with nine consecutive years of sobriety.

Frank was an avid fisherwoman with a passion for fly fishing.  However, if there was a stream, pond, lake or water she was there.  Also Fran was a dog trainer, and had a large loving heart when it came to dogs, especially “Queenie” and her beloved companion, golden retriever “Mackenzie” who she is now with again together.

Fran is survived by family and friends, especially her church family.

There will be a memorial service for Fran sometime in the future.
