Fresh Pond Tract hike set Sept. 24

Delaware Seashore State Park invites the public to explore a tucked-away gem, the Fresh Pond Tract, on a hike at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24.
A park interpreter will guide participants on a hike through one of the park's lesser-known areas. This 3.4-mile loop meanders through hardwood forest, meadow and marsh habitats.
The cost of this program is $5 per person and all ages are welcome. Preregistration is required. For more information or to register, contact the Indian River Life-Saving Station at 302-227-6991.
