Friends of Cape Henlopen to host holiday boutique Nov. 16
The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park will hold its annual holiday boutique and book sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Officer’s Club in the park. The event is a great place to find books to read over the winter and to get a jump on gift shopping.
A variety of Friends merchandise available for purchase will include T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, baseball caps and license plates, all bearing the distinctive Friends logo. The boutique will feature gently used holiday décor, ornaments, music, movie CDs, jigsaw puzzles, and games suitable for all ages. There will also be a raffle.
A wide selection of both hardcover and paperback books will be offered at reasonable prices. Quality donations are sought and may be delivered to the Officer’s Club from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15. The Friends group is not accepting encyclopedias, magazines, dictionaries, cookbooks, outdated computer manuals and textbooks, or VHS tapes.
