The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park will hold its annual Christmas boutique and book sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Officer’s Club in the park. The event is a great place to find books to read over the winter and to get a jump on Christmas shopping.
A variety of Friends merchandise available for purchase will include T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, baseball caps and license plates, all bearing the distinctive Friends logo. The boutique will feature Christmas crafts, gifts and stocking stuffers made by local crafters along with other gift items. There will also be a raffle.
A wide selection of both hardcover and paperback books will be offered at reasonable prices. Quality donations are sought and may be delivered to the Officer’s Club from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18. The Friends group is not accepting encyclopedias, magazines, dictionaries, cookbooks, outdated computer manuals and textbooks, or VHS tapes.
