Gavin Charles Smith, man about town
Gavin Charles Smith, 31, of Madison, Ind., passed away Tuesday Oct. 4, 2016, at his residence. He was born Sept. 13, 1985, in Rochford, England, the son of Patrick M. Smith and Sheree (Powell) Smith.
Gavin was currently employed by Madison Precision Products. However, he had previously spent many years doing professional flooring installation.
Gavin enjoyed many of the small things in life. He had a large group of friends and loved being a man about town. He loved listening to music and playing pool. He was a talented storyteller and could vividly recount any fond memory and usually make you laugh doing it. He felt at peace next to an Indiana River or the Delaware ocean. He liked to fish and be outdoors. He was easygoing and fun to be around.
Gavin will be sadly missed by his mother, Sheree Smith of Madison; his father and stepmother, Patrick M. and Dawn Smith of Lewes; his brother Adrian Craig Smith of Cannan: a half brother, Paul Smith of Rotterdam, Netherlands; two half sisters, Aileen Mitchell of England and Mackenzie Smith of Lewes; one stepsister Kelly Fehrenbach of Milton; two stepbrothers Justin and Chase Fehrenbach of Georgetown; several nieces and nephews, including Jason Smith, Adam Smith, Kingston Fehrenbach, Raleigh Saracco, and Josuha and Cameron Mitchell; and an aunt, Jill Webber of England.
