Gazette’s holiday guide very valuable

December 31, 2024

Thank you for publishing the annual holiday guide. With your publication in hand, we attended several local events during December, and we would like to especially call attention to two events.

On Dec. 11, Wesley attended a matinee performance of “White Christmas” at Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth Beach. He wants to congratulate Managing Director Joe Gfaller, Artistic Director David Button, together with the actors, musicians and artistic team for an excellent live stage production of this holiday classic. Wesley was also most impressed with the quality of the new sound system in the theater. We look forward to attending several productions at Clear Space in 2025.

On Dec. 14, we enjoyed the Milton Holiday House Tour. We have visited specific business and the Milton Theatre in town, but the Holiday House Tour gave us an opportunity to enjoy the varied styles of homes located in and around town. We enjoyed our walking tour on a brisk and sunny afternoon. We extend our thanks to the Women’s Club of Milton for organizing the tour, and we also wish to recognize the hospitality of the people who opened their homes for this unique event.

As we write this letter, the holiday season continues, and we still have a few more activities planned using the annual holiday guide.

We thank the Cape Gazette, the holiday guide advertisers and all event hosts for making the Christmas season a bit merrier and brighter in Sussex County!

Happy New Year!
