Georgetown student wins George, Miles and Buhr scholarship

Samuel Saxo plans to pursue civil engineering

George, Miles and Buhr LLC announced that Samuel Saxon of Georgetown is a winner of the George K. Miles Civil Engineering Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded each year to students who plan to attend college to pursue a degree in civil engineering.

Miles is a former partner at GMB and was involved in a variety of civil engineering projects throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. His brother William Miles was one of the founders when the firm opened in 1960. Saxon graduated from Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown and will attend the University of Delaware.
