Gerald Veasley’s All-Stars light up Rehoboth stage

Gerald Veasley, leader of the Unscripted All-Stars, is a favorite of Jazz Festival fans. The always-smiling bassist stays true to his roots performing in his hometown Philadelphia, where he also helps run a Bass Bootcamp for students.

Jackson has not only had a long personal recording career, but also has performed with many musical icons, including Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Luther Vandross, Kenny Rogers, Chicago and Elton John.

There is no doubt bass guitar player Gerald Veasley enjoys his music. Leader of the Unscripted All-Stars, he said the idea for the band was born two years ago, but it was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
