Geraldine A. Williams, retired teacher

Geraldine (Geri) A. Williams passed away peacefully at home Thursday, March 7, 2024. Geri was born July 6, 1942, in Wilmington.

She graduated from the University of Delaware with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. Geri taught in Wilmington public schools for three years before moving to Sussex County, where she taught at Rehoboth Elementary School for 37 years. After retiring, she became an avid needlepointer with the Delaware Seashore Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild. She also enjoyed travel and gardening.

Geri is survived by her daughter, Susan Daniele (Justin); two grandchildren, Esmae and Jaxtin; her sister, Ellen Magee; along with other family and friends.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Delaware Hospice or Brandywine Valley SPCA.
