Green River to showcase music of CCR Sept. 5

The Milton Theatre will host Green River, a nationally touring Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty tribute group, at 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at at 110 Union St., Milton.
Fans will be treated to timeless CCR classics like “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary” “Up Around the Bend” and live jam favorites such as “Born on the Bayou” and “Susie Q.” The band also performs Fogerty solo hits like “The Old Man Down the Road” and “Centerfield,” capturing the energy and spirit of his current performances.
