Gregory S. John, enjoyed gaming, painting
Gregory S. John, 46, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, from liver cancer in Asheville, N.C., with his loving wife Brittany by his side. He left behind his beloved daughter Evangeline; and his dog Baxter.
Greg was born Nov. 12, 1976, at Andrews AFB in Maryland and spent most of his life growing up in Dover. He attended Caesar Rodney High School in Camden. He enjoyed gaming and working in the gaming industry. He also enjoyed Bob Ross-style painting. He lived in Germany, Delaware, Montana and North Carolina during his lifetime.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Yvonne John; and three brothers, Robert Jr. and wife Michelle, Daniel and wife Beth, and Bryan and wife Somer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ruthella and A. Robert John of Altoona, Pa., and Horace and Lyda O’Quinn of Walterboro, S.C.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 21265 John J. Williams Hwy., Lewes, where visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, N.C.
