Grove Park Run and Walk Club cleans up

Grove Park Run and Walk Club has participated many years in the Adopt-a-Highway program, keeping a stretch of Warrenton Road clean and litter-free. Gathering at a recent cleanup, after picking up enough trash to fill numerous bags, are (l-r) Donna Fleischauer, Margaret Colvin, Doug Hawkland, Doug Hicks, Phil Williamson, Gary Golden, Liz Gerritt, Dianna Golden, Nancy Hawkland, Nancy Brooks, Allan Carmean and Doris Hicks. Not shown is Bob Hughes, who took the photo. The group meets at 6 p.m. every Tuesday at Grove Park in Rehoboth Beach. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.
