Hannah Lowe of SAAS wins Shorebirds bookmark contest

Shown with Sherman the Shorebird, Hannah Lowe from the Sussex Academy of Arts and Sciences in Georgetown was recently announced as the winner of the 2012 Shorebirds Hit the Books Reading Program bookmark contest.
Shorebirds mascot Sherman made a surprise visit to SAAS to announce her as the winner.
Her winning design was selected from more than 1,000 entries from 100 schools. Over 40,000 bookmarks with her artwork will be handed out as part of the program.
