The 2017 Milton Christmas Parade sponsored by the Milton Fire Department will begin at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Union Street and Atlantic Avenue. The parade proceeds down Union Street to Federal Street and ends at Milton Elementary School. Trophies will be awarded to all participants at the beginning of the parade.
No Santa Claus characters should be in the parade, as the fire department will provide Santa. No throwing of candy or anything else is allowed. To pick up a registration form, go to Milton Fire Hall at 116 Front St. For more information, call 302-684-8500 during daytime office hours.
The 28th Annual Holly Festival sponsored by Techno Goober will feature more than 70 vendors from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9. The event will be held at the Milton Fire Hall, Milton Theatre, Milton Library and Goshen Hall. Santa Claus will visit the Milton Theatre from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, go to historicmilton.com.
