The American Heart Association recently celebrated the success of the Southern Delaware Heart Walk with its executive leadership team at Thompson Island in Rehoboth Beach.
Dave Morris, American Heart Association executive director, presented awards to the top three fundraising companies – Bayhealth, Beebe Healthcare and County Bank.
Dr. Roberto Scaffidi was honored for serving as chair of the Southern Delaware Heart Walk 2022, held in November in Rehoboth Beach. The walk was the most successful to date – with an initial revenue goal of $185,000, the total amount raised was $250,000.
