Heidi Lowe Gallery jewelry class registration due July 16

July 7, 2021

Heidi Lowe Gallery is offering two different 2.5-hour jewelry-making classes every Tuesday this summer.

Each class is designed for fun, success and safety. Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade jewelry out the door.

Rings of intention class is set for 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 20. Each student will come up with a word of intention, a word that embodies what each person wants to attract, cultivate or focus on in life. Students will learn basic metalworking techniques to make a silver ring with their word stamped into it. Everyone will leave with a wearable reminder of their intention. Cost is $120.

A mantra bracelet class is set for 2 to 4:30 p.m., July 20. Cost is $145. Students will make a piece of jewelry to wear to keep their mantras with them. A mantra is an encouraging word or phrase repeated during meditation or prayer to increase concentration. Class participants will learn to texture, cut and form metal to make a sterling silver bracelet that sets a mantra to help the wearer stay focused.

Registration closes Friday, July 16. No experience is necessary. Participants must be at least 13 years old.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and for private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave. #2, Lewes.
