Helen L. Wilson, loved family, friends
Helen L. Wilson, 91, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford.
She was born July 24, 1932, to her parents, the late Joseph and Mabel (Willey) Millman.
She attended First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Helen loved to spend her time with family and friends, tending flowers, putting puzzles together, and watching for her beloved hummingbirds.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Wilson Jr.; brothers, Harry Millman and Joseph Millman; and sister, Mildred Short.
Helen is survived by her five siblings, Norman Millman of Georgetown, Ronald Millman of Milford, Robert (Pat) Millman of Georgetown, Daniel (Darlene) Millman of Greenwood, Shirley Taylor of Zanesville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13, at Short Funeral Services chapel, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown. A time of visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will follow at McColley Cemetery, Georgetown.
