Under the direction of local artist Jeanne Locklair, homeschool students participated in fine art workshops this summer at the Georgetown Public Library, where their work is now on display.
Children learned art skills such as scribble art, self-portrait painting and watercolor landscapes.
A celebration of their work and awardS ceremony will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 123 West Pine St., Georgetown. First-, second- and third-place winners will be revealed and honored.
