Iraq Afghanistan memorial a big success

October 29, 2024

To the community, thank you for the role you played in making our weekend with the Iraq Afghanistan Tribute Towers Memorial such a success on the perfect Cape May-Lewes Ferry grounds.

We did touch many lives; we met and hugged families of fallen soldiers lost. We listened to the soldiers who came to pay their respects to fallen comrades. Our community where many just stepped out to make an important part of the weekend happen, we are thankful. We taught many how important it is and always will be to remember all that our flag means, and that we have our freedom because of soldiers, young and old, who have given their all for us.

Many of us spent a lot of time and resources so all could stand and pay a moment of tribute to these dear ones and say, thank you for your service.
