James ‘Jim’ J. McVey, enjoyed fishing

James "Jim" J. McVey, 78, of Milton passed away after a long battle with lung cancer Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born July 5, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Malcolm and Helen (Robbins) McVey.

Jim enjoyed fishing, working on his lawn, traveling (after some coaxing from his wife), and cheering for his favorite football team (which changed from year to year).

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Marlow) McVey; and his brother, Richard McVey of Croydon, Pa. 

The family will hold a private memorial, per Jim's request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
